Mr Leong Chew Meng , Malaysian, aged 52, was appointed to the Board of Directors of Pulai Springs Berhad as an Independent Non-Executive Director on 8 December 2006. He is also Chairman of the Audit Committee.

Mr Leong graduated from the Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand with a Bachelor of Commerce & Administration Degree majoring in accountancy. He is a Chartered Accountant from the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and qualified as an Associate Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, New Zealand.

Mr Leong is an Accountant by profession, having extensive working experience for over 25 years in Malaysia. Prior to diversifying into the business sector as Business Consultant & Advisor, he was the Financial Controller and Finance Director of several foreign-owned multinational companies in the manufacturing, trading and retail sectors. He is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of Sunrise Berhad.

Mr Leong has no conflict of interest in any business arrangement involving the Company and has no relationship with any other director and/or substantial shareholder of the Company. He has not been convicted for any offences within the past ten years.
